Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian is proud to have collaborated with Siemens Healthcare in the creation of MRIamaHero!.
We provide the highest quality imaging for our pediatric patients without the use of sedation, allowing your child to avoid the potential risks or additional recovery. By helping children understand what an MRI looks like, sounds like and what it does, MRIamaHero! will help us achieve this goal.
Before your visit, there will be educational resources, including a child-friendly online video (see link below) and an exciting Marvel Custom Solutions MRI comic book. During the day of your MRI, the program continues with additional fun surprises to ensure that your visit is as comfortable and as smooth as possible.
Targeted to patients between the ages 4 and 15 years old, MRIamaHero! hopes to take out the fear and put in the fun to provide the safest care of the highest quality.
