Low-Dose Imaging

Recognized as Leaders in Patient Safety

Our mission is to provide the high quality imaging at the lowest dose to offer the best and safest possible care to our patients. Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian has state-of-the-art and effective dose reduction and monitoring technology deployed across all of our sites. But technology is only part of our program. Every study ordered is reviewed by one of expert radiologists before it is performed to ensure that it is the safest and most effective study to obtain the information necessary to ensure optimal care.

Based on our efforts, Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian is recognized as a leader in the field of low-dose imaging. Our low-dose program has been adopted by many practices across the country and was published in collaboration with GE Healthcare as the Low-Dose Blueprint, A Guide to CT Radiation Dose Management.

Our physicians and technologists are happy to answer any additional dose related questions you may have.
