Our mission is to improve quality of care by promoting patient-centered and evidence-based radiology. We offer consultations to help guide patients and providers through imaging exams and follow-up. Our team of imaging experts includes Radiologists, Radiologist Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Navigators. We are pleased to offer the following services while our program expands and grows.
Imaging Ordering Assistance
This is a consultation service provided by the Department of Radiology to assist in ensuring the safest and most effective diagnostic imaging for patients. Calls will be taken in real time by one of our imaging experts who will work with a sub-specialty radiologist to optimize an imaging plan. This service is offered as a courtesy to our colleagues and for the benefit of our patients. Patients will not be charged for these consultations. Breast Imaging Consultations
We understand that many patients may have questions before and after receiving their mammogram results. As always, our radiologists are available to answer any questions. Our team is available to help navigate patients through breast imaging exams. To refer a patient, please contact our team as listed below.
Lung Cancer Screening Program
We provide state-of-the-art, low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) imaging for high risk individuals. Our providers offer a shared decision making visit to discuss the risks, benefits and potential outcomes of lung cancer screening. For patients who wish to review lung screening results, we can review images either immediately following the exam or at a later date. Additionally, we provide tobacco cessation counseling. We will facilitate care in coordination with referring providers.
Lung Nodule Surveillance
We offer image reviews and a detailed discussion of findings including the likely cause of an incidental lung nodule. We facilitate timely communication amongst the patient and members of the healthcare team. Our team will coordinate diagnostic or surveillance follow-up as needed.
