Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian takes pride in offering the best service possible. Each of our locations provides a comfortable setting equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Our facilities are staffed by friendly, knowledgeable patient coordinators, highly skilled technologists and nurses, and subspecialty fellowship trained radiologists dedicated to delivering the best care possible.

Patient Experience
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by patient care coordinators that will help navigate your visit. Insurance and prescriptions will be verified and a questionnaire administered to ensure that your care is delivered in the safest manner possible. At this time, you are encouraged to submit prior images or reports of prior studies — if they are available — for comparison.
Once the registration process is complete and the imaging equipment is ready, a technologist will lead you to the imaging area. He or she will explain how the test will be performed and answer any questions you might have. If contrast is needed, a small intravenous catheter may need to be placed by a nurse. Once the exam is complete, you will proceed to check-out to verify that the results are sent to the correct referring physician.
If desired, a complimentary CD of the study can be obtained at check-out approximately fifteen minutes after test completion. The results will be available to your referring physician within twenty-four hours. After your visit, you may be randomly selected for a patient satisfaction survey. Of course, your feedback is encouraged and welcomed at any time during the visit.
